We hope you can join the Darling Wedding Getaway Weekend on June 19-21, 2026 at Hideout on the Horseshoe in Canyon Lake, TX (near Austin). The Hideout is exclusively ours all weekend, including lodging on property. This will be a relaxed weekend getaway celebration with a small group of people. We are very sorry, but we are unable to extend the invitation to children. Closest Airport: Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is only one hour from Hideout on the Horseshoe, which is located in Canyon Lake . Timing may vary depending on traffic. Transport: Feel free to rent a car at the airport or use Ubers and Lyfts. Hideout is near New Braunfels, which is a mid-size Texas city. There should be cars around, but may take a bit to get to the Hideout. Please plan accordingly for your departure on Sunday. Both Uber and Lyft have the schedule ahead feature. Lodging: The Hideout is exclusively ours for the weekend, including lodging. You've all booked your cabins by now. We're so excited!

Common toiletries, medications, and basic necessities will be available in the hospitality suite in Cabin 19 by the pavilion, open to guests starting at 5:00 PM on Friday through 11:00 AM on Sunday. LOOKING FOR THINGS TO DO?🏡 Hanging Out at the Hideout We'll have the Hideout exclusively all to ourselves for the entire weekend, so feel free to relax at your own pace — hang out in your cabin, kick back on the porch, play games, or lay out by the riverside.🤠 New Braunfels A mid-size Texas city just 15–20 minutes from the Hideout. It has all the typical restaurants, shops, and stores you might need — great for a quick outing or a bite to eat.🎢 Camp Fimfo Located just a short drive from the Hideout, <a href="https://campfimfo.com/texas-hill-country/park-passes" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Camp Fimfo</a> offers day visitor passes to enjoy their resort pool, mini golf, water playground, and alpine coaster. A great option if you're looking for a little extra adventure!🌊 Floating the River We'll be doing an optional group float trip along the Guadalupe River starting at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 20th. (Below is a photo from a college float trip circa 2009 — some things never change!)
